Rostelecom says retargets Sputnik on soft devt for B2B, B2G long ago

MOSCOW, Sep 8 (PRIME) -- Russian state-controlled telecom operator Rostelecom refocused its unit, Search Portal Sputnik on development of software and solutions for corporate clients and the government in information search and processing several years ago, a company spokesperson told PRIME on Tuesday.

“Search Portal Sputnik continues to operate fully as a Rostelecom subsidiary. Several years ago a revision of Sputnik’s strategy was announced – it is now focused on development of software for segments B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) in the sphere of search and processing of information,” the spokesperson said.

Edition CNews reported earlier that Sputnik was closed, and its official website did not have a search line, but links to the company’s other initiatives.
